Site needs to work out its identity
One thing no-one has mentioned is the traffic noise from the nearby main road. It's significant and disturbed me.
Apart from that a strange site. No travellers that I was aware of but serried ranks of undisguised units in storage, a non-awning area like an orphaned stretch of aircraft runway, and a small single facilities block (the other being closed). It doesn't feel like a holiday site. The club should work out what it wants here. Is it a storage facility? A travellers' site? A holiday site? Maybe completely screen off the storage, shrink the site to a core away from the traffic, do away with seasonal pitches altogether.
The potential is there. The facilities were very clean, the wardens friendly; I had a nice walk in the sunshine around the golf course. Didn't need to access Birmingham but others report it's good.
