Weve stayed here 3 times. The location is amazing and the site has some lively pitches within the woodland. However since the new wardens have arrived they no longer stock the little shop on site. Such a shame as we thought this was handy for bits and pieces . Even sadder is the fact that they no longer supply food for the red squirrels. This last visit I only saw one all week. Previously we have seen a few each day. Also the new bin arrangement is not great. It's a fair walk to the entrance and not easy to open the large bins whilst juggling rubbish bags and a dog. I think they should have at least kept one central bin point alongside the ones at the main entrance. Can't comment much on the new wardens as we only saw them on check in day apart from that they kept a very low profile.
