Just back from a weekend at Borrowdale club site and what a gem it is ! Access to the site is a little tricky and care is needed but if you follow the site's directions and not your satnav you will be ok. The site is fantastic for walking as you can get straight on to the Derwent water circular path from site and the path to Catbells is close to the site entrance! The Lordore falls hotel is a twenty minute walk from site or you could catch a boat into Keswick from one of the jetty's located along the lakeshore path! Definitely a site you need to take plenty of supplies along as the only shops are in Keswick. Lovely pitches in set in leafy woodland offer some shade from the sun. All in all a site we will certainly return to.
