PERFECT (for us) SITE @5*, JUST TRANQUIL BLISS

This site is amazing❤️, please note our reasons why, - whilst this is not an “adults only” site and the more than welcoming owners, (I’m sure they would not refuse children), I just can’t imagine children being happy here due to the peace, tranquility and zero resources for children (I have two children that are now grown, mine would’ve been so bored). It is a spotlessly clean site, the owner Andy is so accommodating, welcoming and friendly (but not to “over friendly”), the peacefulness is so serene, that we’ve actually decided (being new to caravanning due to covid) that we don’t want to go anywhere else, so we have booked several holiday breaks here, I didn’t want to leave a review, because I wanted to keep this little gem of a place all to myself, but I can’t be that unkind and not review Andy & Lisa’s perfect hospitality and (despite them being new to this game) very successful at running a lovely caravan site :))) Thank you Andy for making this a lovely week for us, when this time last year we holidayed in the Maldives, we have still had a lovely rest here this week, thanks again Jennifer & David Matthews:)))))

Amazing Site

What a lovely site. The owners could not be more friendly and helpful. The pitches are enormous and level. The site is pristine. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good facilities in that there is a full range of recycling available and rubbish/emptying points within close reach. Only bad points - 1. Only one toilet and shower. They are separate but not enough if the site was at capacity. 2. Hand towel and toilet roll kept running out. Could have kept a better eye on this. Bad points are nothing really and the description the owners provide on this page is 100% accurate. Extremely easy to find from M6. An absolute gem of a site. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the Wallings for a much needed and very much enjoyed week.

Lovely site.

This is a lovely cl. My hubby used the shower which he said is big. The pitches are a good size and the site is well laid out. Water on each pitch. Will certainly visit again.

Lovely modern quiet CL

First time in new caravan so thought we’d go somewhere not too far from home. We couldn’t have chosen a better site. Lovely big hard standing pitches with adjacent water and ehu on each one. TV signal is excellent and completely free fast Wi-fi. Andy the owner was away for the first couple of days but he still rang on our first evening to check we had got settled in OK. Then he came to see us on his return. Couldn’t fault anything. Will definitely visit again.

Peaceful getaway

This site is perfect for a peaceful getaway..Only 20 minutes from home but a nice place to come and relax. The site is immaculate. The pitches and grounds are kept to a high standard. The toilet and shower room are excellent. The shower is lovely and warm and cleaned after every use. Very friendly owners who are always around for a friendly chat. Highly recommended visiting Iced (a local cake shop) adjacent to the site, friendly staff and yummy cakes. Just a short walk or drive away is Honeywell’s farm shop. Lots of lovely dog walks nearby. We will definitely be returning soon.

Little Gem

Just returned from a lovely weekend at this beautiful little site, even storm Ciara could not dampen our enthusiasm. Andy the owner is one of the nicest people you could meet and he made us feel right at home. He even let us leave the caravan for a couple of days so we didn't have to tow in the high winds. The site is small and homely and very neat and tidy. The toilet and shower were spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. The surrounding area is lovely with great walks along the canal. We will certainly be going back.

Peace and tranquillity

Just spent 2 nights on this lovely little site. Can't fault anything about it really. Although we had the whole site to ourselves the peacefulness and lovely surroundings were just what we were looking for. The owners are very nice and friendly. And Andy the owner popped his head in for a chat and check all was ok which was nice. Everything you need is there for you. Lovely level hardstanding pitches. Brilliant tv signal and free WiFi. Toilet shower ..Thank you for an enjoyable stay on your farm. We shall deffinetly be back again đź‘ŤRuss n Max

Lovely site with great with a nice owner

This was our first CL site stay. We were a little apprehensive as we have 3 normally pretty boisterous kids who like to play outside. The site was really easy to find and very well laid out. It had rained a LOT when we arrived and the we were concerned about stepping out of the van onto the grass. Andy, the owner, was more than happy for us to pitch sideways so that we stepped out onto the gravel which helped a lot. This was despite the jockey wheel being on the grass. The toilet and shower are a short walk away around the other side of the farm house. Both toilet and shower were nice and clean although we did not actually sue the shower. The road leading to the facilites, although quiet, needs an adult or older child to walk the youngsters round to it. You also need a torch at night. Not a problem at all for us as we always carry torches with us. The location of the site made it easy to do a great 8 mile walk straight out of the gate. There is loads of great walking around. A great first CL experience!

Quiet few days.

Spent a quiet few days at this well tended CL. Excellent facilities even though the WC and shower are situated away from the actual site and within the owners residence, they are clean and modern with wheelchair access. Due to the low lying land there is no motorhome waste disposal but we didn’t find it a problem. The CL is close to a variety of things to do and we had a lovely walk on Beacon Fell and a visit to the Fairtrade town of Garstang and the award winning Barton Grange garden centre. As Moss Lane is only 15 miles from home we will probably make a return visit.

Hidden Gem - Peace and Quiet

Moss Lane CL will go down as one of the best CL sites we have stayed during our membership of the Caravan Club and will now be returning on a regular basis as the site is close enough for a short weekend and far enough in order to get way and unwind. Andy and Lisa are very good hosts and more than happy to assist and pass the time of day. Everything is perfect for a quiet peaceful weekend or week away, close to all local north attractions and local bub's within 1 mile walking distance. Good sized level pitches, just pick which one you want... Water to each pitch 16 amp Power Keep up the good work, the site is a credit to you. Chris & Carol
