Had 7 nights here on this neat and easy to find site. Pitches are grass and hard standing and reasonable size though reversing onto pitches was needed due to narrow drive giving little pitching room without use of M/mover. Poultry was kept in their garden and occasionally a couple got onto the pitches and nibbled some small plants we had bought and left outside the awning.A very busy little road was 50 yards away used by mixed traffic. Not only were the HGV's noisy, they severely disrupted the tv signal. Buses , tractors and even cars affected the picture and sound whichever way the Ariel was pointed. This, despite the site book stating 'TV reception good' Very frustrating when loss of continuity was experienced Eggs were advertised for sale but was told he sold so many to local businesses he never had any left for caravaners. The owners also had 4 Westies which were prone to yapping quite often.Mobile phone signal tended to be poor. On the good side, the info shed was good, it was central to visit lots of places of interest. the grass was nice and short and collected, a water tap was at each pitch, and the owner was friendly. Would we go again? Probably.

Faz726, Sorry to hear you had a problem with the TV, just wish you had mentioned to me about it as we don't normally have a problem with TV as we can see the mast in Dundee, so it may have been the aerial position as the signal should not have picked up road traffic. Next year I will make a sign at the gate pointing the aerial direction. When you visited I had just had 20 young chickens join us and they had not started laying, so was short of eggs, but can never get enough at certain times of the year.
