Hi everyone,

We wanted you to be the first to know about a new member offer with My Esso Card. The My Esso Card is a fuel card that provides savings at 1,300 Esso fuel stations to help drive down the cost of touring. Members are guaranteed to save on fuel at every Esso station across the UK with the only consumer facing fuel card.

We are the only organisation within the touring industry able to provide this offer to members.

What is the saving?

On average members will typically save 8p per litre on premium diesel or unleaded fuel and 5p per litre on standard diesel or unleaded fuel. That’s a typical saving of £5.60 per tank on premium fuel or £3.50 on standard fuel (based on 70 litre tank of fuel).

The saving varies based on the My Esso Card special rate and the Esso pump price rate. In the unlikely event that the pump price is lower than the My Esso Card special rate members are guaranteed to save 1p per litre on the pump price. You can use the My Esso Card to fill up all your vehicles, not just the one you tour with.

There are no fees to sign up and no transaction or processing fees. You can also earn your Tesco Clubcard points when filling up.

We are also running a competition for members for a chance to win free fuel.

To launch this great new offer, My Esso Card are giving Caravan and Motorhome Club members an exclusive chance to win free fuel. 10 lucky winners will win 175 litres of fuel and another 10 lucky winners 75 litres of fuel!  Members need to register for a card and fill by 31 December 2018 to be entered into the random prize draw.  Winners will automatically have the fuel credit added to their My Esso Card account.

To find out more about this member offer visit My Esso Card Member Offer on the Club website

On the basis that here Esso is a lot more expensive than supermarket fuels I do wonder what the savings will really be.

I agree and I always use supermarket fuel stations to fill up, but it might be useful when towing away from home, either with a caravan on tow, or from a site?

I think Esso tends to be cheaper than Shell, One, and this seems a better offer than the Shell one.

We've used Esso many a time when we've been away but we don't have a  garage locally.

Thanks for the heads up, Ro,

in my experience supermarket fuels in our area are always cheaper than the big nationals, just hope the club have got it right this time, i seem to remember the Shell card was a fiasco and now is restricted to motorway service areas, but lets not look a gift horse in the mouth

Thanks Ro will look at this offer as it's free (I hope) and for all Esso garages and we have one locally where we also get Tesco points. It's sometimes handier than driving to a supermarket for cheaper fuel for our M/H.

Dear All

We strive to bring members the best and most relevant offer for touring and lifestyle. The Shell fuel card was a first and has proven popular even though it is restricted to motorway sites only. Esso has over 1,300 petrol stations across the UK, so it is simply the best offer we could bring our members. Another first is that you can now save on ALL fuel types. The process is so simple to use and is guaranteed to save you money on the Esso network.I have been comparing the prices on offer, using the text notification service and on average I have saved 16 pence per liter during a period of 3 months. What's more my wife is happy with the Tesco club card points accumulated. It is definitely worth having the card on your person. I saved 12 pence per liter on a trip to Perth (return) 140 litres x 0.12 = £16.80 on one journey.

Three trips of this distance and my membership is paid for.

You can use the my esso fuel card in the countries mentioned countries and you make a saving, however it is only a saving on the transaction charges and not on fuel. Watch this space.
