Equipment at seasonal pitch when not there?

We have just started our first "part seasonal pitch".

I am wondering what to leave connected when we are not there from a security/ safety point of view.

Leaving the fresh and waste water outside gives the impression you're at home but I wouldn't want someone to help themselves.

Same for the hook up cable, also how safe would it be to leave connected, unattended, even with nothing running off it?

Awning curtains open or closed?

What's the general thinking? or is it a personal preference?
