Hi,

Recently bought a new caravan.  Can't use it at the moment...gutted, c'est la vie.

Anyway, noticed it doesn't have a hose to connect to my gas bottle.  How do I connect to the caravans gas regulator, photo attached?

Best wishes to you all and your families, many thanks,

Ian

Pop along to your local dealer and buy yourself a "pigtail".

It's basically a length of hose with connections for your gas bottle & regulator.

Be sure to specify which gas you intend to use as they have different connections.

I would have thought with a new caravan , and if  from a dealer,,  it would have been part of the usual starter kit. that good dealers give to new owners

The photo shows that a red gas cylinder is fitted in the gas locker.

With a high level of confidence this indicates the OP has a standard UK propane bottle, so requires a left handed screwed bull nose gas connector, of the type in this example;

Note 1; the shown example features a "soft" rubber nose connector and a handwheel, to do it up.

Note 2 : these hoses come in various lengths, 450mm is what is generally chosen for this application.

There are alternatively a version that requires the use of a spanner, these type have a "hard" brass nose. These work effectively if done up tightly, hence spanner, but not as practically where all that is needed with the soft rubber nose type is to do up the handwheel.
