I recently bought the said vehicle, and was told speedo faulty … I have fitted new sensor but the problem persists .. says I'm going faster than actual .. i.e. 40 mph is registered as 60 mph and so on .. it has had a new/recon box fitted ?? Thanks for any advice.

Your post has been moved as the Introductions Section wasn't the appropriate place for this post.  Also, as posting in upper case is considered shouting and against our T?&Cs, it's been amended.

Did you have this problem before the gearbox swap? If not, it could be that the wrong 'box was fitted.🤔

PS ..... capitals is considered to be shouting 😉

Looking on the bright side -- At least there is less chance of falling foul of the Speed Cameras.

Most speedos seem to read high these days but normally less than 5 mph and not as much as yours.

Another thought, Ducato instrument clusters are often reported as being faulty. However, if the speedo is not an electronic one, MM is probably right.

(PS. Mods, this is also in stories and I think it’s a MH rather than a towcar.)
