Football Supporters' Songs

Had to chucke at this afternoon's Roers v Oxford game (a rare event for long suffering Rover fans!)

If you've ever been to a match you will know that supporters like to sing the tune Guantanmera by, I think it was The Sandpipers (?).

The usual refrain is something like "sing when you're winning, you only sing when you're winning". (You have to know the tune to get the full effect!)

So this afternoon Rovers fans start singing to the Oxford ones "small town near Swindon, you're just a small town near Swindon"!

It did cheer me up, particularly since the game was ruined by some of the most atrocious refereeing I've seen since - well, since the ast time I went to see Rovers actually!!  Wink. Use left and right arrows to navigate.
