Euro footballing competition

I understand that there is some sort of competition for footballists coming up soon.

I drew the team from Germany in our sweep at CAB. Do I have any chance of winning?

As I understand it, some people have to kick a ball into a net, or something, and the one who does it the most times wins the game.

Seems a bit pointless to me, but I thought I'd give it a go. Exciting these office draws, aren't they? Certainly more interesting than kicking a ball about.

This is going to be a good day for the home nations . Come on Wales you can do it.  Come on Ulster you are a great team , all the best--- Hope you both win decisively.

It's only the best teams at the Euros K, the ones who fought hard to get there, the ones with passion & pride for their Country & love of the game. It's the very best who will win. To be beaten by a Welsh team who are a joy to watch will be no shame-IF it happensHappy

It's only the best teams who play against each other in a tournament final.-----

- The rest who dont make it are just poor also rans.  No matter how far or not the failed teams progress in the tournament they need to recognise they are not up to the task of winning.

WEll said K, you are spot on. So we have the tryers/losers then a step up to the competers then the ultimate winners/best in Europe. . . .I agreeHappy

What about luck of the draw, some teams have an easier passage to the finals than othersSurprised

Write your comments here...Good point Oneputt-- that opens up another can of worms - Alleged bribery and favouritism has been known to help certain teams in the draw stage of International Tournaments.

Crikey K, I know you sometimes think the worse about educational standards, but that Sports Psychology Degree you took is definitely bargain basement! But you made me laugh!Happy
