Judging by the number of removals, things seem to have become singularly ill-tempered on this thread.

Having "staycationed" last year and it looking like this year will be the same, I found arranging pitches far more stressful than the "turn up and pitch" flexibility afforded by venturing "over there". It seems that this situation will be even more pronounced this year. frown

Lots of plans in place here, in fact decided today is the day to give MH a good going over inside, so that we are ready to roll when permission is granted.
We have adopted a “what can we do” outlook since last Summer, rather than dwelling on what we can’t do, or where we can’t get. We love exploring new places, new walks, cycle rides, beaches etc..... and have missed our Winter breaks just as much as our Summer ones. I have marked up due dates for our second jabs, we have sites booked not far from home, shall add some nice local CLs to this and get out in the fresh air as much as possible. Looking at short breaks for Mum and Sister as well, utilising our mobile cafe again. Might even consider booking her and Sis into a glamping pod, on a Club Site, while we pitch up not far away.

Judging by the number of cars bearing roof boxes appearing in this area, I guess there are a lot of folk doing staycations already despite the prohibitions🤨

If only we had lots of police officers. Ought to be self funding really......enough sneaks and selfish individuals out there to fund extra officers in some places. Rules lack teeth and the resources to put in place effectively🤷‍♀️

Ditto..TDA.  Always took the 'what we can do' attitude...we have not been given a date for our second jab only that it will be within the 12 weeks as recommended by Pfizer. We are now into our 7th week since the first...so we have kept our bookings local.

That said I doubt very much sites will be opening before Easter and even then may well 'slip' into end of April for self catering..

Will be interesting to watch the PM's briefing on Monday..
