Troutbeck Head queries

Hi all. We are booked to go to Troutbeck Head for the first time next weekend.  Just wondering about a few things: 1) The activity centre next door - is it really as much of a noise nuisance as some of the reviews indicate, and if so, does it make a great deal of difference if you pitch at the end furthest away from the centre? (I assume a matter of a few hundred yards won't make a great deal of difference if there is clay pigeon shooting going on next door).  2) The site information leaflet says it is prone to midges - how are they at this time of the year? None of the reviews mention this issue.  Finally, 3) Where is there a decent chinese or indian takeway?  I guess Keswick or Penrith, but that seems a long way to go for a  takeway.  Is there anywhere nearer?  Hope someone in CT land has some answers.  Many thanks.
