The Club have released more details of the new Booking System here

There are still finer details still to be arrived but the link (thanks Harry) sets out how the new system will work.

I have closed the previous thread on when we will get details of the new booking system and opened this one to allow comments specifically on the new system rather than discussing what they might be.

"It will be the same the back end of the season, online activity will drive what's in the pot."

...not condition of the offering?

Nothing has changed in all my time with the club. I don't see the need to change it now. Wrecked pitches get taken out & they get put back in. Complaints regarding the condition of pitches are minimal, except of course on social media.

JK is an expert in double Dutch it seems!

Please explain in plain English. All I did was quote you and what you said in English was that the ccc have more staff than this club ( meaning the CC club).

I doubt that even a crytograher such as Ian Goldberg could decipher our last sentence above.

We used to get all sorts of Europeans come to site so you learn a bit of allsorts. I know a bit of Isipeturms, it's over in the east I thinkwink

"Wrecked pitches get taken out & they get put back in..."

That was exactly my point, it's the condition of the offering that drives what's in the pot...

In my experience it just might be that the ccc do a lot more faffing around than than the camc who I have found to be far more professional, efficient and helpful

In our admittedly limited experience, the C&CC check in procedure has been very slick and efficient. Much more so than this club, which on occasion has been snail like. Don’t know about the number of staff, but the ones we dealt with were certainly helpful.

But does Social Media have too big an influence on Club thinking?

On its own maybe not but put together with the information from surveys and other sources (emails, letters) it probably does.

Morning

Probably best to point that question to Rowena DK. I wouldn't have a clue. This forum is now the only form of social media I partake of in this country. I tend to use American RV forums a lot more, a bit less point scoring going onundecided

Ina, I had looked at the "become a member" section and membership is £10  less if you join via direct debit.

Posted on 05/12/2021 09:11

Ah, I see.  The reason I posted was that you initially said that "for some a direct debit saves £10 on the annual fee rather than paying by card annually", and I just wanted to set the record straight on that one.  It's the joining fee that's £10 extra if not setting up a DD.

Can't remember what it was when we joined, it's about 30 years ago now wink
