Help need to search for Club Site in Essex

Whilst at the National Motorhome Show at Peterborough yesterday, we popped onto the Caravan Club stand and asked when they were going to open a Site in Essex. We were then told to have word with the Man in Charge, Chairman Grenville Chamberlain, who just happened to be on the Stand. So we asked the question, he advised that they did try to get a site in Ardleigh but unfortunately due to some objections to planning permission they had to withdraw from this. It would appear that whilst they are looking because of the Dale Farm escapade any application made to open a site in Essex gets blocked. We were told by Grenville that if we could find a field that came with planning permission or even a site that was for sale and could be redeveloped he would look at it. So come on all you Essex members get looking for that elusive site. There must be one somewhere, we did mention that Dale Farm had partial planning but he said he would like something a bit more long term LOL.
