I see the Club is offering 10% off selected sites for a restricted period, though I would see if any were of interest, and one is, however there are several restrictions......min 3 night stay....OK........only between certain dates......OK, fits with what we wanted........but must book 21 days ahead.......so no use for anyone who makes a last minute decision, not that say 20 or  even 10 days is exactly last minute.

What did surprise me is that 2 of the sites in Scotland are ones that I had thought were popular and well used.......Melrose and Stonehaven.

Only 22 days till we are thinking to set off, nothing booked as yet, will need to make some decisions soon!

No, I couldn't find it, but going though today's reviews the vast majority were for CLs not club sites and reading a few of the club site reviews there was mention of how rundown the facilities were considering the price that members were now being charged, and how scruffy others were looking.

Not sure where you're looking Nellie was it FB again, there's eight very positive reviews of club sites today, the Chester one was quite early, three cheers for the wardens it was called. As I said usually about that number a day with a few less good too of course, but then some poor CL reviews too.

Part of CS post.. As I said usually about that number a day with a few less good too of course, but then some poor CL reviews too.

Funnily enough before embarking on our current travels I checked "Latest activity" every day fro a month (server errors notwithstanding). I found that the percentage of positive reviews to poor reviews to be at about 95% to 5%. 

I tend to make a note of both positive and negative ones for future reference for those areas I'm likely to visit.

As CLs aren't as uniform as club sites I find that satisfaction ratio quite heartening.
