Hello

I am picking up a 2016 premium Santa Fe next week, need the high driving position due to lower back issues. the Volvo V60 D4 has been good but low to get in out of now. The higher stance of the Hyundai means it is easier to load for me

I will be towing an Eldiss Affinity 462 mtplm 1300kg so I know perhaps a bit overkill but I'll be be able to carry a bit more in the car now and I do love my cooking on the cadac

First thing I'll do is get a tow bar fitted not sure which is best though fixed or detachable

Any constructively helpful feedback would be most welcome from members

Thanks

We have a 66 Reg Santa Fe Wiggins bought new. It was a limited edition, premium SE plus extras, and a very good deal.

It is an excellent towcar and very pleasant to drive. Thee is plenty of power with reasonable economy. It has been extremely reliable.

We have a fixed towbar which is fine. Our previous Sorento had a removable one which was a fiddle to fit or remove,so it tended to be left on.

We tow a Bailey Unicorn Cadiz with ours which is no problem at 1400kg max!

Ours has heated steering wheel and heated or cooled seats which are great! Lots of other toys such as sunroof satnav  hid lights etc.

Ours has self levelling suspension which is useful towing.

Hope you enjoy it!

I do like all the 'toys' on the Santa Fe/Sorento (the all round cameras and self park are my fav), which literally would add tens of thousands of pounds on other cars

Hi All

picked up my " new to me" Hyundai Santa Fe with new swan neck fixed tow bar fitted. Very pleased with it and so is my back, The high driving position is good for me and the seat is so comfortable

Had it hooked up to the van and pulls very well, self levelling suspension is new to me but works a treat.

Looking forward to going to York with it soon, for a few days and sampling the delights of York Brewery "pint of Guzzler please"
