B+E license changes will no longer take effect from 15th November:

The was a meeting of the all part parliamentary group on trailer safety earlier this month, no minutes have been published yet http://www.trailerappg.org.uk/meetings/ but the CAMC are usually invited. It would be nice to hear an update from the club on the proposed changes.

Clearly the government want more time to collate information before bringing it to a vote.

Unfortunately some people will be in limbo now, not able to take a test and not able to drive legally.

It's delayed because some MPs objected (by shouting no) after the debate on Monday 8th November.

That means a formal vote is required, and since the debate ended after 2200 the vote was deferred until 17th November. The Lords already voted to approve.

I hope the government whips will be encouraging as many MPs as possible to turn up on Wednesday.
