Does driving an automatic completely or cut down clutch burn when towing/reversing a caravan?

I've mostly driven 2 pedal car since my 30's.

My kids drove two pedal cars from the age of around 6.

and I suppose your car is manual because you've always had one & don't really do 'change' ..... kiss

My car is a manual because the auto version had a lower tow capacity and I think a lower hitch load ........ but also I am happy to change gear. I have driven both but not bothered which.
