Burstner electric bed

hi. I bought new a Burstner Ixeo 680G in Oct ‘17. Has anyone who has this model had any problems with the operation of the electric bed? We have experienced problems on several occasions where the bed either doesn’t raise or lower properly and has to be reset. This often has to be done several times on each occasion. The vehicle has been back to the dealer who did kindly show me how to reset the system - the procedure is not shown in the handbook. Although I have reset successfully it does not inspire confidence in that should the bed ‘stick’ in any position other than fully ‘up’ one cannot drive the vehicle. I know there is an emergency procedure involving manually winding the bed up but in experience this is a VERY protracted operation. Any comments please.

Hi, can I ask if you can share any information you have on this reset procedure. I ask because some friends have just purchased a 2017 model with the same bed and it would be useful for them to have just in case.   Happy to provide an email address if its a PDF .

Thanks.

I have just bought a Benimar 202 (2015 model) ...love it .But I am having problems with the project 2000 electric bed.

It got stuck and I had to manually wind it back up ....hard work and very awkward to get at ! Eventually found a you tube video on how to reset it .Secret button and hold up button for 5 seconds. That's all Ok but I can not program the computer as I can not find any information anywhere on how to do so . So every time I use the bed I have to hold secret button for 5 secs etc etc everytime. The bed goes down quite well but seems to be slower on the way up. I don't need to program it to stop at different levels just to work properly ...up and down !

Any Ideas ??

Many thanks from a newbie

I have a Swift Rio 340 (2016 bought new) with exactly the same issue

It’s been returned to the dealer and manufacturer with assurance fixed but to no avail!

I didn’t know it could be reset, mine seems to go down but fails intermittently to wind up to the top position

We have resorted to using a 13mm socket on an electric drill to return the bed upwards on several accessions - far from ideal but quicker than a hand ratchet

I would be interested in the reset system procedure if you could share it

Thank you
