Does anyone know how I can connect my TV to the caravan club wifi? I can search for wifi, it finds it but I can't sign in so it won't connect. We have a Blaupunkt smart TV. Is there a way round this via some other device? Thank you

In most respects, your problem stems from mixing old technology with new. At home, our TV infotainment is delivered via the internet and WiFi, not through an HDMI port like we did in the old days. Our Avtec TV is languishing in the loft because we stream, through our phone hotspot to a tethered iPad or laptop. Granted that’s not a 21” display, but why would it be if we’re so close to the screen. If you stay in places without EHU there’s a big reduction in display power consumption to be had with smaller devices.

It’s personal choice, of course, but TV isn’t central to our caravanning time, though TV News can be important. Perhaps less so than my online newspaper subscription which I can read in bed. Plus streamed music.

Overall, I think that you need to forget old Tech and focus 100% on your mobile digital data service - 4G and no streaming from site WiFi please.
