I've a Vango Awning and matching vango woven  breathable carpet, problem is after the carpet has been down for 24 hours or overnight it stinks like TCP (not the antiseptic)  tried washing hosing ect but still cant kill the smell, as far as I know no cats have been in my awning any ideas?

Hello,

We have noticed the same problem, it almost smells as if a cat has sprayed/urinated in our awning. We find the smell only appears in the evening and not noticeable during the day ?

I am sorry I cannot help with any ideas, but hopefully someone maybe able to help us with this problem ??

we had a similar problem at the Edinburgh site, again only at evening and never since and only at the front end, we found out it was probably a fox? We did achieve a cure by spraying some anti-cat spray, I can't remember the brand but got it from a local B&Q.

Hi TandJH.

Please bear in mind that this thread is almost a year old and the original poster and responder no longer visit this forum.  However, somebody may come up with a solution for you.
