Hi and I’ll start by apologising in advance if this is covered elsewhere. At some point, my caravan will be built and a collection date arranged. My query is this;
there will be no ‘equipment’ in the van and I’m concerned the noseweight will be miles out. I don’t want to fall foul of an unstable caravan on what will be my first tow in nearly 30 years! Dealer said don’t worry about it, just collect and tow it home, which I’m not overly happy about? Anyone available to shed a bit of light on this please?
CARAVAN Eldiss avante 554 (2022)
MiRO is 1260kg (+ 33kg for motormover fitted)
Max hitch weight 100kg
MTPLM 1500kg
TOWCAR Audi A6 2.0tdi ultra S line avant (2016)
TOW HITCH MAX 100kg
TOWING MAX 1877 kg
All the above is how I understand things 🤔 I will be using most of the user payload when I get the van home and loaded up but the worry is what it will be upon collection? Or am I overthinking this?
