Carpet slippage resolved

I thought I had tried everything to stop my fitted caravan carpets from creeping. Applying non-slip carpet tape reduced the creep but the carpet still kept buckling up / creeping under the door to the loo, Even more annoying was the slippage of the mats we bought to protect the carpets. We were re-positioning them every half an hour.

Last week I googled and found a product on Amazon that came with excellent reviews. It's a spray-on application that dries overnight. Yesterday I applied it to two house mats that are forever creeping on our lounge and dining room carpets, and it is amazing.

I have just treated the caravan carpets and mats, and tomorrow will treat the huge hall rug - it is so heavy it is a real pain to re-position it every few months - you have to roll it up, move it, unroll it and hope it unrolls in line with the walls and furniture.

Apparently it works on bath / toilet seat mats, which you can machine wash three times before having to reapply.

How come this product is not available in the shops - we can't be the only ones with this problem? I just hope there isn't a catch.

I don't want to appear as if I am plugging someting for commercial gain, so won't mention the product. Google and read the Amazon reviews. Only reviews from purchasers appear.

Sounds interesting. Did you just Google "Anti slip" tape or spray to find it?

Seriously. Thanks for that I have found the stuff and will be having a serious look at it as haven't found anything yet that will stop our rugs walking round the van by themselves.

I bought two, expensive ar £14 each, but so glad I did. Just take care to flush out the nozzle FULLY and close it off  (as per instructions)  in between treatments or it will block up. I am on my second bottle now (for the big hall rug tomorrow ) so was
able to decant what was left from the first bottle.
