Hi,

Only my Second post here. So please bear with me.

Our new to us Hymer 470 has the usual two leads to plug into our Car.

The Car, a 2012 Range Rover has the two sockets for the leads with the factory fitted tow bar (removable ball). But the leads do not reach from the Caravan to the car.

A friend has loaned me a Y Splitter lead that I can use this weekend as we are only going local. However, I cannot find small extension leads for both. I can buy the plugs and cable, make a couple up. But was just looking for something easy.

Does anywhere know where I can buy ready made up please?

You will be replacing those sockets soon as in that position they will rapidly corode.  You can then put the replacements in a spot more suited to use.

Not much to corrode in a plastic socket with brass connectors 😉 Having sockets more accessible/on show kind of defeats the object of having a detachable bar for aesthetics

I thought they were removable so that you didn’t crack your shins on them when accessing the boot.😂
