Hi all,

I have agreed to buy a used 2004 baileys ranger 550/6 caravan. The current owner has had it from new and it has very good service history. The van is very tidy and the owner has been up front with the history.

The caravan has had a complete front panel replacement through the insurance as a result of a crack. The caravan has also had damp in the back and the seals were replaced along with the back wall boards.

There is now some damp in the back panel by the door as a result of a failed roof seal. The panel has been removed and the wooden frame could do with being replaced, especially the top one.

The rest of the caravan is bone dry, checked all through with a damp meter.

The van is already a great deal r. £4000 inc a motor mover. The owner has offered a further reduction of £500 towards the damp repair.

I am new to caravans and would welcome some guidance. I am supposed to be collecting this tomorrow night,
