Bearing in mind that the Club Handbook is sponsored by SsangYong and various CC publications all feature this vehicle maker whose Korando model also won the CC Towcar of the Year in its class. Following these reviews I then decided to buy a Korando SE4 (AWD version) which I will be collecting tomorrow.
Today I telephoned Mayday to get my vehicle details changed - what a farce. I was on the phone for an undue length of time as they told me there wasn't a make of car called SsangYong, let alone a Korando model! I eventually got them to change the details manually so at least I would still be covered.
I have e-mailed the CC to get their comments as they are promoting the Korando and surely they would want any purchaser to be able to take out the Mayday service.
