Leaving

Ok confession time- I'm moving to the dark side and have joined the CCC- Reason being other family members are with them and it makes it easier to meet up, also their sites seem to be a bit more relaxed with no one complaining endlessly about kids on bikes etc..I'm sure you will be out with the pitch forks for that comment but hey it's just my opinion!

However since deciding not to renew I am beginning to wonder about what is really at the heart of the CC. Is it about the money or is it about the members. In the last month I have had 5 letters, 2 emails and a text message reminding me to renew. At no point have I been given the option to say I'm not renewing. The assumption has always been that I must have forgotten.

Is this just a clever sales ploy or arrogance, I would also point out that it does say on a few of the letters words to the effect  'If you have decided not to renew then thanks and hope to see you again soon' however not once has anyone asked why I might be leaving-Again seems to be a bit arrogant!

Just thought I would provide some feedback...
