Classifieds + nonsense adverts = scams?

I have just been browsing through the Club Classifieds looking at motorhomes and I'm astonished at some of the adverts I see on there.

Why do people bother to post ads and not include any photos?  Or, if they do put photos, why are they completely useless, showing nothing of the layout?  Or give useless descriptions, leaving out important details like number and type of berths?

However, the real eye opener was the number of ads for recent model motorhomes at unbelieveably low prices, half or a third of what you would expect to pay.  These have got to be scams, surely?  Presumably to get hold of enough info for identity theft purposes, or to lure you into revealing your bank details.

I hope that the Club's website overhaul will include an alternative classifieds section that does not rely on Caravan Selecta, as that organisation seems unable to control its advertisers.
