I first joined the CC in 1966 and, apart from a month or so, have been a members ever since then so I know quite a lot about the club.

For many years now I heve been a site assessor for the Aan Rogers Guides and I was very (pleasantly) surprised indeed to find the Guides have been bought by the CC. I have never heard any comments from the club about such purchase. It's strange to find that the CC is so much more than a caravan club.

I had no idea that the CC was set up in such a way thate they could purchse orther companies. I am not against such purchases, I am just unhappy that these aquisitions are carried out without members knowing that they are (inj general) being considered.
