**Updated 7 September 2023** We are pleased to announce that Baltic Wharf Club Campsite is now open until Sunday 15 December 2024 (last night).
Baltic Wharf Club Campsite is a waterside haven, located right in the heart of Bristol's beautifully re-developed dockland and close to the city centre with its lively shops and entertainment. For families staying at the campsite, great attractions include the Downs Park: a cosy and safe place for young children to play and also an ideal picnic spot.
Many excellent cycle paths can be easily accessed from Baltic Wharf Club Campsite, including the Bristol to Bath path if you are feeling particularly energetic and adventurous. A selection of boat trips are available from the campsite, which makes for an excellent way to take in some of the most scenic views in this part of the county.
Important: Due to the introduction of a one-way Bus Gate near site, please ensure you review the driving directions on the "Map" tab below before you set off.
Please note: The Bristol Clean Air Zone covers the central part of Bristol between Bristol Temple Meads Station and the A3029, including Cumberland Road and Baltic Wharf Club Campsite which means you may need to pay a fee based on your vehicle's emissions, age and weight. From M4 and M32:
Until 19 September 2024 there is a diversion for traffic, due to emergency river bank repairs on A 370 York Road near Temple Meads. After leaving the M32 members have reported the alternative sat nav route and also the signed diversion routes are difficult to follow and poorly signed. You could use the M4 (J20) and head M5 South - and then follow the directions from Junction 18 of the M5. Or alternatively follow this slightly amended route:
From J18 of M5:
Important:- Please plan your departure route. When departing the site ONLY turn right out of site and follow Cumberland Road in a westerly direction. Follow road signs towards the A370 (The South West), A4 (Avonmouth) or the M4 and M5. Penalty fines apply if you enter the Bus Gate heading East (turning left out of the site).
