Conwy Certificated Locations

The medieval walled town of Conwy is one of the most important areas of North Wales.

A world-heritage site dating back to the 13th century, it boasts numerous historic attractions and the most famous is, of course, Conwy Castle. This impressive structure was built by the English monarch Edward I between 1283 and 1289 and is protected by a wall with a total of 22 towers.  It is now open to visitors from March to November and provides a fascinating look into the past.

Conwy also has a vibrant food scene and there are plenty of opportunities in the town to sample some of the locally produced delights, including Welsh lamb and regional sausages.
