Sandhead Certificated Locations

A small village in Dumfries and Galloway, Sandhead is located amid the rugged scenery of south west Scotland.

It boasts a beautiful sandy beach that stretches out to sea for more than a mile when the tide is out, and windsurfing and waterskiing are very popular within the sheltered bay.

There are plenty of car parking spaces and places to picnic, meaning the beach is easily accessible and you can enjoy a bite to eat in stunning surrounds at the end of your walk.
