View on mapMansell Farm is a working beef and arable farm situated in the village of Newbold-on-Stour, 6 miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon. The village has a shop/post office, traditional pub (White Hart) and public transport to Stratford to the north and Chipping Norton to the south. Visit Stratford for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare's birthplace, New Place and Anne Hathaway's Cottage.
We are a stone's throw from the North Cotswolds with numerous Cotswold towns and villages including Chipping Campden, Broadway, and the National Trust property at Hidcote Manor. The local market town of Shipston-on-Stour is 3 miles away.
The site itself is peaceful and scenic with a large pond (you may see ducklings and moorhens) and views to Ilmington and Meon Hills. There are country walks to local village pubs at Armscote and Ilmington. The bus stop is approximately 600 metres from the CL site. There is a beauty salon on the farm.

We arrived at this lovely peaceful CL in the first week of July 2024 after several days of heavy rain. The farm track from the main road is good and not at all uneven if taken at a careful speed. The CL site is on well maintained grass... Show more

This site is in a peaceful location and easy to find. It is beautifully kept and in a lovely setting. Everything is well maintained and clean. The owners are friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return!

Stayed for 10 days in August 23. This is one of the better CLs that we have stayed on and we only stay on CLs if possible. Some say CLs getting more expensive but try and find anywhere for just £20 a night! Peaceful country location well away from traffic.... Show more

We spent 2 wonderfully peaceful nights at this site. It was so relaxing. Perfect for our dog with a wonderful walk with pools . Being so far off the road was such a bonus! Welcome board with pitch number on made everything easy . Host popped round , very pleasant and informative... Show more

Although I agree with previous reviews in some ways not others. Site season starts April and visited towards the end and it's been a wet month but it would have been nice to warned by the owner of soft ground. I always use the caravan mover not to rip up the grass... Show more
