Nice and easy

Oak Lea
This was a very ‘nice’ site and ‘easy’ site to get to. We had 2 nights here at Oak Lea on our way down to Cornwall, and we will use this site again. All flat grass pitches in a very large well kept field with a big dog walk area. The toilet facility was well appointed and kept clean and tidy. Going into Weston-super-Mare was very easy, but we didn’t have time to discover and explore more due to our short visit. The only downside is if the wind is coming from the motorway direction you can distinctly here the motorway traffic, but that didn’t bother us.

Excellent site

Oak Lea
Stayed at Oak Lea on our way to and back from Cornwall. Very friendly and helpful reception from owner. Level pitches and plenty of open space. Slight traffic noise from M5, but nothing to disturb you. A gem of a site with easy access to and from the M5, Weston Super Mare an surrounding area. 10/10 for the way it is looked after.

Hidden Gem

Oak Lea
We stayed at Oak Lea overnight on our way home from Cornwall. We were all tired from the journey and just wanted to settle down for the evening with our 2 young boisterous dogs who get excited at almost anything. We were expecting a dog walk like most other sites have but were overwhelmed by the enormous, secure fenced field instead. The dogs loved it, they hadn't been off lead for 2 weeks and were running round like loonies - it was lovely to see - thank you xx We had a warm welcome and found the owners to be really nice people. The site is beautiful and well kept, we had a good, solid night's sleep as it is so peaceful there. Had we been able to we would have stayed for a couple more nights, it was so refreshing. Thank you & hopefully we'll see you again, you're top of our list now having stayed at 2 nearby sites already.

Lovely

Oak Lea
Stayed Friday and Saturday night, motor home and pup tent for Daughter and 6 year old granddaughter. Easy to find from M5 - nice wide access. Very impressed by well maintained, spacious, clean site, lovely greeting from Mr Kemp and 15 minutes later a lovely bag of freshly picked plums from their orchard - just ready to eat, from Mrs Kemp. Thank you. The fence in the picture has been removed, so a lovely area right up to hedges - granddaughter was able to play ball quite happily away from the other vans also explore hedge groves for bugs!! Large fully enclosed dog area also. Water and grey water disposal at each pitch - spotless loo [to us a bonus, as not used to that on CL sites] There is a slight "hum" from M5 - but very unobtrusive, didn't bother any of us - Weston a few miles away, plus quite a few retail parks on route, if you need to shop. Lovely wave from Mrs Kemp from her front window as we left on Sunday morning. Thanks for having us - your site is a credit to you.

Excellent CL

Oak Lea
Don't be put off by the low price of this CL as it is an excellent site that is beautifully kept and the owner is very welcoming. This CL is well located for the M5 and is a great stop over if you are heading down to Cornwall but it is also well situated for Weston Super Mare. The site has EHU and water is supplied to each pitch. If you have a drainage pipe you can run it straight into the grey water waste. I would highly recommend this site and will definitely return.
