Basic but functional

Farm with two camping areas, one a CL for around 6 units and the other a large camping field with toilets and some hook ups The CL side has fresh water and a chemical loo drain point The camping side has a toilet and shower unit which is quite rough and ready and a prefabricated type building. This is perfectly clean but as you’d expect on a farm there’s quite a lot of insects in there to keep you company !! The only negatives for us were there were quite a lot of flies that found their way into our motorhome which we were still finding several days after leaving !! Also this is a working farm and some late night noise from tractors was heard. Oh there’s supposed to be a farm cafe but it wasn’t open when advertised so I think it’s a bit hit and Miss whether it opens or not

Superb CL - ideal for exploring the Lizard on foot or by bike

Earlier reviews convinced us we should bite the bullet and spend a week on a CL, and we are delighted we did. What a find - beautiful location, and despite some serious rain on a couple of days, the grass pitch never became muddy as the field slopes away. We used our bikes every day to visit a different cove, and Kennack Sands is only 1.5 miles away for a lovely beach with safe swimming, with lifeguards attending. Treleague Dairy was within easy cycling distance for farm-shop produce and Mullion was only about 4 miles away along quiet lanes for shopping in a good little Co-op, so we didn't need to drive off the site at all. The Salty Pig cafe was right next door and sells farm meats and local ice cream - it hadn't been open long so we hope Trerise campers will take good advantage of it. Sarah was a very friendly host. The quirky loo block in the adjacent field was clean and with only a handful of pitches taken up it was never crowded. Thank you Sarah, we will be back!

Beautiful peaceful CL

We stayed here in May / June 2020 and found it to be a beautiful CL. Having a motor home we use electric bicycles to tour around on and this site was central for this purpose. Thoroughly enjoyed watching all the geese , pigs, sheep & cows in the adjacent fields. Would return to this CL again when we visit The Lizard next.

Beautiful well run CL

One of the nicest views of any site we have visited, quiet and with walks from the pitch, but well located for lots of local sightseeing. Excellent National Trust gardens in every direction, Pendennis Castle is good and The Lizard is nearby, along with plenty of coves, pubs, cafes. Access to the site is first class with plenty of run off from the lane which is very quiet. Very helpful owners and we would rate this CL as one of the best we have ever visited.

Will definitely return

Lovely site and will definitely stay again. Slight miscommunication as we didn’t realise that there is a CL site and their private site opposite so we entered the CL on,y to find we were on the other site. Not an issue as both are lovely. We walked across the fields to kugga and found a little pub. A little further on is Kennrick sands beach ... beautiful setting. We got the bus from kugga to lizard point and then walked to kynance cove across the coastal path! Stunning! Can’t wait for our next trip to Cornwall

What a Gem

Spent four days here in July and it was so quite and peaceful. We were overlooking the rolling fields and pond. Although it is a working farm but you wouldn't realise it. Very well kept with the toilet/shower/wash up facilities in an adjacent field which were always kept clean. Ideal location when the family want to come too with tents. So laid back....a credit to Sarah and Steven. A return visit will be happening.

Peace and tranquility

We stayed for a very pleasant week in June 2019. The site is very picturesque, it is a large field with views of the surrounding fields. There are farm animals in the fields but are well away from the site. The site is owned by a very friendly young family. Sarah walked trough the site every morning and teatime to check if we needed anything. But if you were not outside or did not want to talk she did not intrude. The site is kept very clean and tidy with the grass being cut and taken away twice in the week that we were there. Thank you Sarah & Steven we had a lovely stay and hope to be back soon.

A Farm in Motion.

We were given a very warm welcome by Stephen, the owner. His young son was hard at work with a friend chopping back weeds and transporting them in a large toy dumper truck. A delight to watch. Stephen had just fed the pigs and we spent a peaceful afternoon and evening watching the geese in and out of the pond and cows, pigs and sheep move from one luscious green field to another. The showers were very clean and refreshingly different. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Sam and Anita

Wonderful off season walking base

What a fabulous spot.! Everything and more one would want from a CL. Hard standings available. A totally quiet, dark and sheltered valley, but within a lovely walk of the coast path. A true gem of a site!

Loved it!

This site is superb, it is everything a CL should be including owners who are very friendly and helpful. The pitch area is grassed with a couple of hard standings, it is well laid out and maintained. Water and electric points are well sited. The outlook is lovely, you look out over farmland - we were lucky enough to be there when new calves arrived which our grandchildren loved. A word of warning: Follow the directions on the listing, don't follow a satnav! I left in a hurry and didn't read the directions which made the last mile "interesting and challenging"...
