Stunning

Mandy and Martin have set the bar very high which many CL's will find difficult to match. A very helpful booking process and assistance to have adjoining pitches for friends arriving 2 days later for my birthday. There is very little that I can say that has not already been said about this fantastic CL. Its like having a pitch at the Chelsea flower show. We will be returning. Thank you.

Friendliest Site

Mandy and Martin are so welcoming. Staying on their site is akin to staying with friends. The site is immaculately maintained, and yet they're very easy going and laid back, always keen to stop what they're doing and have a chat. They'll go out of their way to help if needed. The pitches are spacious with a lovely view across the park, and an enclosed paddock for our four-legged friends to catch a ball or otherwise run free. Beautiful walks immediately available, and a variety of pubs or restaurants nearby. We highly recommend a visit. Peter & Dot

Wonderful CL

On arrival we were very warmly welcomed by Martin and Mandy, who gave us all our information we needed to enjoy our stay, and showed us our pitch (no 4) The site was absolutely immaculate, with well spaced out pitches with EHU, there was also a beautifully landscaped wildlife area with seating for relaxing, and another enclosed 'off lead' dog run enclosure which was fantastic for our 2 Sprockers ( dog toys included). The site was extremely peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. There is a footpath directly from the site which takes you to Alton Water, which has a perimeter of over 8 miles, and 400 acres of Nature Trails, Cycling Routes, Fishing Spots and Water sports, not to mention Pubs and a cafe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 2 nights 10th and 11th May 2024 but wish it could have been longer. We will definitely be back. Well Done to Martin and Mandy for being great Hosts. Rob & Amanda

Cracking

We all had a cracking time at Garden House CL one of best CLs we’ve stayed at and will be definitely going back. Milo our cockerpoo enjoyed the dog exercise area including playing with the toys left out, nice little touch. Good information hut with a little tuck shop. Including in the hut was items to buy for a charity that Garden House is supporting which Mrs B brought another jigsaw! We did an easy well signposted walk around the top half of Alton water with a good pub stop at the White Horse half way round. Thanks to Mandy and Martin who have worked so hard to keep their site immaculate, see you again soon.

Beautiful CL

We stayed in November 2023 and what a lovely CL this is . Its well planned out with plenty of room between pitches , Martin and Mandy were very welcoming and work hard to keep this CL immaculate, there is a information shed with maps of where to walk and what's on in the area there is also an honesty box to buy basic essentials and home made jam the raspberry one was lovely . Alton Water is not far to walk from the site and there is a cafe and on a wet and windy day it was nice to stop and have a hot chocolate , there is a garden centre not far away which does good meals and great walks by the Orwell Bridge , we will be back thank you for a lovely stay Jan and Cliff Wyer pitch 3

What can I say that hasn't been said already.

Just spent a very relaxing weekend at Garden House and we have never been to a more immaculately kept site. Both Martin and Mandy couldn't be more welcoming. The layout of the pitches is spot on. We have a small dog and the two exercise areas are great especially with one being fully fenced. Easy access to some lovely walks to the nearby Alton water and villages. Have already booked for next year.

Wow, immaculate site!

The Garden House CL is the most immaculate CL we have ever stayed on! With the warmest of welcomes from Martin and Mandy we were set for a lovely long weekend. All facilities are to a high standard, well thought out, clean and tidy. Some 'essentials' available in the information hut were a god send when we ran out of tea bags!! Extremely doggy friendly although we don't actually have one and lots of walks into the beautiful Suffolk countryside. A little road noise but this did not detract from our stay. Cycling around some of the back lanes was lovely although you do need to go on to the busier A137 to access them. Would most definitely recommend this site.

Outstanding CL with amazing hosts

Wanted three days away not far from home.. Garden House is 50 minutes down the road from our home, so still in Suffolk! What a find, only by chance looking on Facebook a few weeks ago I read a post that another caravaner had enjoyed this fabulous site. Adult only is perfect for us as we’ve done the big sites when the children were young, now we enjoy peace and quiet, long walks with our lab and a good pub on the walk back! Garden House is perfect for relaxing, walks nearby, pubs in walking distance, came across a small farm shop stall on one of our walks, and not far in the car from Tesco to grab any supplies you’ve missed. Mandy & Martin work incredibly hard at keeping the site beautifully maintained, both very friendly and caravaners themselves so totally understand what we all love when we’re away in our second homes. Reading all the reviews blow we totally agree with everything ❤️ Loved it and we’ll definitely be booking to come again and again .. Thank you both you deserve to win an award every year! 🤩🤩🤩

Fantastic CL Look no further

If your looking for a 1st class CL this is the place to stay.We arrived late June during the hot spell, travelling 7 hours from Scotland. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Mandy who explained where everything was and told us to select a pitch of our choice. Everything on site is maintained by Martin and Mandy to a very high standard. There is a small information shed with leaflets regarding local area, and also home made jars of jam and chutney for sale (really tasty). The big plus for us was definately the enclosed dog exercise area, our young spaniel Milie would have run about all day in it.The paddock to the top of the site is lovely to walk around with benches to sit for a while and enjoy the peacefulness. The water points, bin area, and chemical waste point were to a very high standard and cleaned daily. The grass on site is kept to a bowling green standard.Plenty to do and see in area, Village fete in Tattingstone was a joy.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thank Martin and Mandy for being 1st class hosts. We can't recommend this CL highly enough, and wish it was closer to home as we would be frequent visitors. All things said well worth the 370 mile journey.
