Great site, lovely owners

Old Kiln Farm
Booked this site on Thursday evening to visit Friday, as a last minute weekend away in the camper. The weather was wild and woolly but Vera gave us a warm welcome. The site is close to the beach, and the views were amazing. We had a lovely couple of days - and will return, great place for a break. Enjoyed a visit to the Senhouse Roman Museum in Maryport which was well worth a visit.

A gem on the Solway Coast

Old Kiln Farm
Situated a mile from Allonby on England Coastal Path which is currently undergoing major improvements. Site has amenity block with showers and toilets. You back onto fields which had sheep and lambs during our visit. Very quiet and peaceful but easy walk into Allonby which takes about 30 minutes. 5 minutes to pebble beach. Maryport is 5 miles away and has good selection of shops.

A warm welcome awaits

Old Kiln Farm
A lovely CL site with a friendly accommodating owner. We stayed between Christmas & New Year the weather was wild & wet, but the the owner had a heart of gold and offered to fetch provisions from a store she was visiting if we needed. Great walk along the beach to the village (there is a footpath too), miles of sand in both directions. A quiet restful site with easy access ~ highly recommended

Perfect

Old Kiln Farm
We have just got back from 2 weeks at this site and if you are looking for a warm welcome, beautiful views, relaxation with only the birds, sheep and cows in the background, great places to visit and close to the lakes then we recommend old Kiln Farm. Vera and her family very welcoming and helpful if you need anything. Great sunsets and walks/cycle rides along the coast. If you like no hustle and bustle this area is great but you can find that close by if you want that. We will return.

Absolutely Fabulous

Old Kiln Farm
We have just had a fantastic two weeks at this absolutely fabulous C L. The family are lovely people, very accommodating and the facilities are kept immaculate. The information says no ground sheets but fully breathable ones can be used no problem. It was so peaceful and relaxing with magnificent views and outstanding sun sets. A short walk to seemingly miles of sand almost to ourselves and the sea was warm enough for a swim. Our dog also loved the walk down the quiet lane. The new shepherds hut and two pods look very tempting. Ideal of you wanted friends or family to visit perhaps. Mawbray Cheese Shed, Twentymans Ice Cream and The Codfather well worth visiting. We highly recommend this C L and we will definitely return. Thank you to Joe, Vera and Philip.
