When you arrive at The Woods Caravan Park, the first thing you'll notice is the breath taking 180 degree panoramic view of Ochil Hills. Hard to beat whatever the season! The site offers superb facilities and activities in a unique location giving you unparalleled access to the very best of Central Scotland. Golf, fishing, safari park, off road cycling, motor sports, pony trekking, historic sites, hill walking, canals, steam railways, shops, pubs restaurants are all close by. With a vast array of local attractions and activities nearby, you will never be stuck for something to do. The site benefits from many local walking paths and hill walks - Gartmorn Dam, The Devon Way and Alva Glen are just to name a few.
Local bus service, located 5 minutes from the park, will take you into Stirling every 20 minutes meaning you are within easy reach of the local attractions. There is also a train service to Glasgow and Edinburgh located in the nearby town of Alloa. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs are within easy reach, along with St Andrews and Perth.
There is an onsite Restaurant and Bar, called The Woodsman which is open 7 days a week from midday until 10 pm (advanced booking is advisable).

From West: leave M9 at junction 9 and follow signposts St Andrews, A91; pass through series of roundabouts and continue to follow signposts A91, St Andrews, Tay Bridge; cross river and at next roundabout turn right onto A907 (signposted Alloa); in 2m at roundabout continue onto B9140 (signposted Fishcross); in 3m turn left into lane signposted The Woods Caravan Park. Site on left in 400yds. From East on A91: turn left off A91 just before Alva into road signposted Fishcross. Site on right in 0.5 mile.

My parents have been coming to this caravan park for years, but recently this site has certainly taken a dip. The grass doesn't get cut regularly anymore, the toilets are not cleaned as well as they used to be and they seem to close the office earlier than it says... Show more

Wir waren von der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter begeistert. Sanitäranlagen topp, beste Duschen von allen, die wir auf unseren zahlreichen Touren durch Schottland erlebt haben. Und ein sehr gemütliches und freundliches Restaurant mit leckeren Gerichten direkt am Eingang. Wir kommen wieder!

Cannot fault this site at all. Really large well kept pitches. The toilets and showers were extremely clean. Hot water all the time. Will definitely stay again. Very peaceful and wonderful views.

Easy to book and get booked in. Had a fully serviced pitch taking advantage of discounted autumn rates. TV aerial did not work - reported. Stayed here recently on a fully serviced pitch for people with mobility problems, which was handy for the toilet block. Went for a shower, but the disabled one was locked and I had to use one of the ordinary ones. Unfortunately I slipped in the shower, which had no helpful... Show more

This is a good site, well run by helpful friendly staff. Good bus service to Stirling. Well located if you want to drive further north. The restaurant at the gate to the site is excellent - good menu choice and good service - remember to book.

This was our first outing in are camper van and couldn’t have found a better site to start with. Everything about it was excellent from the pitches to the washing facilities just everything. We will definitely be using the site again.
