Great news! Steamer Quay Club Campsite has undergone a full redevelopment with some exciting improvements.
All pitches have been upgraded to 46 new serviced hardstanding without awning (metered) pitches, giving members improved pitch facilities, accessibility and flexibility. Additionally, this popular campsite will benefit from a newly refurbished shower and toilet block, plus new motor van waster points, new service points and a new electric vehicle charging point!
Pitches will have metered electric hook-ups meaning guests have direct control over the amount of energy consumed and paid for. Find out more at camc.com/smartmetering.
Improvements include:
Steamer Quay Club Campsite is a pleasantly quiet, green and spacious holiday getaway, with serene pastoral views. The beautifully kept caravan park is just a short walk away from the bustling town of Totnes, for a wide choice of local pubs and restaurants. Totnes has been a significant port for many centuries and is perfect for a leisurely stroll along the banks of its busy river while taking in the historic atmosphere. Further up the hill you will reach a place called The Narrows, the oldest part of the town and a must-see sight for visitors to the area.
While staying at Steamer Quay Club Campsite, you are within easy reach of the historic Guildhall and museum. The picturesque village of Dartington is just over 2 miles away, and with beautiful gardens, outdoor theatre and a cinema, Dartington Hall is well worth a visit. The Friday and Saturday market is a convenient location for a spot of shopping - a popular event with locals and tourists alike, and you’ll find an eclectic mix of local produce, collectibles, jewellery, clothing, and more. Boat trips to the pretty harbour town of Dartmouth leave from the dock just across the road from Steamer Quay. The campsite promises a memorable break and the opportunity to absorb the traditional English life.

A lovely site, close to town and recently refurbished. What a shame about the facility block though! 80 pitches but 4 toilets and two (small) showers and no private sink cubicles in the ladies. Refurbishment provided a perfect opportunity for increasing the facilities. As for the electricity metering - it took 2... Show more

Lovely site, spotlessly clean including the shower/toilet block. Welcomed on site by the wardens, who were friendly and helpful. The river is across the road and the town of Totnes on the doorstep. Walked to Dartington via footpath trail, well worth a visit. Other reviews have commented on the no.... Show more

Fabulous site. Booked last minute for two nights and we’ll certainly be back. Everything was so clean and well laid out. The site is quiet and feels really safe, yet within 5 minutes walk to the town. Totnes is a bit quirky, with a Glastonbury vibe - which we loved.... Show more

A great little parkup, used mainly by motorhomes, that reminds us of city sites/aires on the continent. With more space and immaculate toilet facilities. We arrived in time to choose a nice pitch overlooking the harbour. Perfect for a saunter around quirky Totnes. The price however! £37 + metered EHU... Show more
