The campsite is great for children too, with the clean golden sands and seaside resort of Spittal very nearby offering safe bathing and play facilities. The nearby Ford and Etal estate has a functioning steam train, many craft workshops and castle nurseries, adding up to a great day out for all the family. Be aware of the train noise

Lovely tidy site, toilet block extremely well kept & staff were lovely. When we first arrived we stayed on site 69 but had to move. There is a junction or line fault on the train track behind these sites that makes a banging noise every time a carriage goes over it.... Show more
