Charming Carradale

Lovely spread out grass site near beach with one central large clean modern toilet block in middle. Given a site map and able to choose own pitch and we had a lovely view over sea and out towards Arran. Though be aware some electric points only 10A. Came down B842... Show more

A Wonderful Site.

We've just returned from another fantastic holiday at Carradale Bay. The sun even came out to make what has to be one of the best sites on the West coast of Scotland even better. Access down the small road to the North can be challenging in a big van or towing... Show more

Outstanding location and worth the effort to get there

Stayed here in August for 6 days this summer. Loved our time here with spectacular views from the site of Arran. Many people, lots of Scots, holiday here every year which says a lot for the popularity of the site. Located next to the beach many people were here for... Show more

The perfect beachside site

This was our second trip to Carradale, our last was 11 years ago. We were fortunate to have excellent weather. It was as good as we remember, nothing has changed. The beach bordering the site is fantastic and even at half term on a sunny day there were no more than... Show more

Lovely stay

This site is off the beaten track, but that is one of its appeals. Magnificent view from the pitch, and near to a picturesque and still working harbour. Definitely take your bike! A dogs paradise with a clean beach to run on just a hop from the van, with the site kept... Show more

Fantastic

What an amazing place. With beautiful scenery, the site is peaceful with no traffic noise; all you can hear is the sea and birdsong. It is just what we needed after 6 months of working very hard from home throughout the lockdown. We had a very friendly welcome from Colin.... Show more

My favourite place

This site is the most wonderful site. I can’t fault a thing. Only that we don’t live nearer to come more often

Magic!

It might not be the easiest site to get to, but my word it was worth it! We were there in early May, and watched the gannets diving into the sea from our caravan. The facilities were fine, the warden extremely helpful and friendly, there were seals off the rocks... Show more

Loved it - We stayed twice as long as planned !

A good site, well maintained with pitches to suit all expectations. We loved the location and having made the effort stayed 6 days instead of the planned 3. If your coming from Arran its a bit of a "string" road down from the ferry at Claonaig . . whilst... Show more

End of season break

I agree with all of the latest reviews, however, I wish to add a couple of salient points. Colin directed me to a secluded and scenic pitch which turned out to be only 10 amps, which he failed to mention. Occasionally it tripped out even when using one appliance. Many... Show more
