Maragowan Club Campsite is a picturesque family holiday location nestled on the bank of the River Lochay in Scotland. The campsite is within comfortable walking distance of the stunning Falls of Dochart and the quaint little village of Killin where you can idle the time away in the various shops and restaurants. It is also conveniently located on the circular Heart 200 Scottish touring route.
Maragowan Club Campsite includes a well-equipped facility for babies and toddlers under 4 years old where parents can tend to the little ones in comfort. It also puts you within easy reach of a wealth of fun outdoor activities. One of Scotland's most beautiful 9-hole golf course is right next to the site and fishing is permitted on the site in the river Lochay - just see the site staff during office hours to obtain a permit. Cycling routes, including the National Cycle Route 7 and the Rob Roy Way, are in close proximity and mountain bikes can be hired in the village of Killin. Kayaking, hill walking and mountaineering can all be undertaken from the campsite. Walking and hiking can be enjoyed by all abilities, with numerous Munros, Corbetts and pleasant hill walks all within a few miles of the site.
Explore the hills and glens of nearby Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. For a step back in time with scenic beauty, visit Loch Katrine and enjoy a Sir Walter Scott steamer cruise. For the more adventurous, there are water sports centres close by at Lochearnhead and Kenmore on Loch Tay, where small boats can be launched into the loch. Scenic drives up the Glens where local wildlife abounds are also not to be missed when visiting this idyllic campsite.

i've just returned from a lovely 4 night break at Maragown and what a find it was! Spotlessly clean and well kept by pleasant and helpful wardens. The site is quiet and very easy to access. motorhomes/campers (a one roof tent) out numbered caravans by 3 or 4 to one, and... Show more

Love this caravan park. On the edge of town with fabulous views and overlooking the river. Peaceful with plenty walks direct from site. Staff friendly and helpful. Although facilities dated, they are kept very clean.

Excellent site. Great phone manner when booking on two occasions. Had an emergency with loss of steering fluid , so the stop was to get help from the AA. Was concerned above oil dripping on hard standing. No problem! Some cardboard was found and delivered to me. Very friendly attention.... Show more

Lovely wee site next to the river, you cant fail to be impressed by the beautiful surrounding area. Lovely staff, and a nice well kept site. Our first visit, but certainly won’t be our last.

Poor waste management, no bins around the site. Waste has to be taken to the main entrance, those with limited mobility, elderly will have issues using the bins. Toilets and showers are in need of an update.

Very conveniently located site by Killin. We had a great couple of days hiking on Ben Lawers and the Tarmachan Ridge nearby, also enjoyed seeing the historic Moirlanich longhouse. Very good facilities on site, the only thing we lacked was somewhere to freeze our coolblocks...Cheers, Linda and Stewart
