Brean is also within easy reach of Hurn Lane Club Campsite, with its Fun Park and the Tropical Bird Gardens at Brean Down. You'll not want to miss the chance to visit Cheddar Gorge and the famous caves there - once you've emerged from these spectacular sub-terrarium sights, call in at the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company's Rural Village for another interesting family excursion. All in all, this Somerset motorhome and caravanning site and its surrounding area have much to offer - not least the local freshly baked bread and cheese which make for fine holiday gifts when you return home.

Directions
Leave the M5 at junction 22. At the roundabout continue onto the B3140 (signposted Burnham-on-Sea). In 2 miles at the mini roundabout opposite the petrol station turn right (signposted Berrow, Brean). In 1.75 miles (after triangle garage) at sharp left bend, turn right into Red Road (signposted Animal Adventure Park. In 0.75 mile (after passing Rose Farm) turn left into Hurn Lane (narrow, single track). The site is on the right in 200 yards.

Lovely site
A lovely friendly family clean and tidy. You can hear the music in the evenings from the site next door but it goes off at midnight. Recomend this site to anyone.

The site is fine, I have no complaints about the pitch or the toilet block,etc. Three things that I don't like: It's a bit barren and characterless. Almost nothing within easy walking distance apart from the beach. Lack of pavements means longer walks aren't achievable either. Lot of noise from the neighbouring site... Show more

Nice quiet Site surrounded by other campsites
Visited in March nice clean level site with clean toilet block unfortunately surrounded by other sites with some noise. ( should have Google earthed) The funfair, slot machines and holiday homes which seem to be a feature of this area are not for me. Beach has lots of warning signs regarding soft... Show more

We love Hurn Lane and have been coming here most years to stay for the last 5 years. It’s so handy for the beach and to walk towards Burnham or Brean Down. Fantastic for the dog too. Site always clean & staff friendly. Reception staying open later on busy days.... Show more

Great campsite
Great campsite for walking on the beach with dog. We always stay out of season so nice and quiet. Clean and tidy site and facilities. Wardens cheerful and very helpful.

October get away
Very nice site, very well maintained, decent shower block, big pitches , good road access around site, quite easy to get to although the last bit is a bit narrow. Very close to everything going on in Brean, beach, shops, pubs and Brean Down NT coast walk. My only complaints:-... Show more
