Why stay here ...

Holidaymakers who love their countryside simple and rural cannot help but fall in love with Gaer Hyfryd Club Site. The park, with its combination of luscious green countryside and imposing mountains rising in the background means there is no caravan site more picturesque and scenic to take the family.

If you're interested in gardens, make a visit to the National Trust's Bodnant, only a 30 mile drive from Gaer Hyfryd Club Site. Here you'll find one of Britain's greatest gardens famous for its Laburnum walk. A little closer to the caravan park is the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall - one of the seven natural wonders of Wales. The area is well regarded as a walker's paradise with a choice of simple strolls to a lung-busting trek over the Berwyns. Located in the Welsh countryside of Corwen, the park is not far away from the Eisteddfod, the Canal and Telford's bridge over the Dee.

Enjoyable second visit

A lovely quiet site with excellent facilities. Billy is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Ideally located to visit lots of pretty, interesting places. Excellent and very large field for dogs to go off lead which our two loved.

5 star site in peaceful rural setting

We spent a very happy week at Gaer Hyfryd in early September. The main reason for our stay was to visit the nearby Bala Lake and Llangollen railways, but further afield we recommend Pistyll Rhaedr, which was spectacular despite recent dry weather. A short walk down a quiet lane takes... Show more

Cancel at your peril

Tranquil, very well run site fabulous scenery

Touring caravan, stayed for 4 nights. Great location, scenery, spotlessly clean, free decent WiFi. The site manager, Billy is extremely friendly and welcoming - went out of his way to help us access and egress the site which was very much appreciated. Thank you will definitely return

Site is lovely with great views, fully serviced hardstanding pitches and a very clean toilet block. Site is ideal to explore Llangollen or Bala,... Show more

Lovely site

Excellent quiet site. Very clean toilet and shower block and the site was well maintained by site warden, Billy, who was very helpful too. There is free Wi-Fi and the site is within easy reach of Chirk Castle, Llangollen, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and more. Paul & Jenny
