Why stay here ...

OFFERS*: Kids for £1 (aged 5-17) | Under 5s stay free | £5 refundable deposit

We are making improvements to the facilities block which requires it to be closed between Monday 20 January to Thursday 20 February 2025 inclusive. The site will remain open during the works, offering a non facility/service point only experience (with a 20% price discount to reflect this).

During this time, we will also be making improvements to the pitches opposite the facilities block, which may cause some disruption on site.

Should you wish to select a site with facilities during this time, the nearest alternative is:

Set in ancient quarry works and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), the Cambridge Cherry Hinton Club Campsite has been imaginatively landscaped to create the impression of being in the heart of the countryside while only a 25-minute bus journey to the city centre of beautiful Cambridge.

The campsite gives you easy access to guided walking tours of the nearby medieval colleges where you can enjoy the academic atmosphere that makes the city famous. Wander along or take a punt on the River Cam to see colleges like Corpus Christi, Magdalene and the Bridge of Sighs. A visit to King's College Chapel is a must. If you're feeling a little lazy, open bus tours let you take in the full charm of the city while you relax. For those who like to cycle, the Cambridge Cherry Hinton Club Campsite offers good cycling paths from the site into and around Cambridge. Just opposite the site, you can enjoy a lovely walk around the nature reserve and old chalk pits. If you're feeling peckish, it's only a short stroll to the nearest pub and if you need to stock up on supplies, a supermarket can be found a little further down the road.

To contact the campsite directly, please call 01223 244088

Nearest alternative campsites: Ashridge Farm Club Campsite, Grafham Water Club Campsite and Fields End Water Caravan Park and Fishery.

Great site and location

Stayed for a few days at the end of February, beginning of March and the site was full on one night, so shows it's popularity. Very friendly and welcoming Wardens and a very well kept site and facilities. Some of the pitches would be very shaded, not so good in the... Show more

Perfect Location

Lovely site and staff couldn't be more helpful on our arrival. The bus isn't too far and goes straight into Cambridge plus the local pub- Robin Hood is good for food. Have re booked to go in December as Cambridge is so nice at Christmas.

Warm & Comfortable Main Site

This a brilliant location for getting into Cambridge centre on bus, only 10 min easy walk on paths to stop, £2 each way, about 25 mins travel time but traffic dependent. I would imagine perfectly cycleable to centre too especially if you can work out the route on the... Show more
