Why stay here ...

OFFERS*: Kids for £1 (aged 5-17) | Under 5s stay free | £5 refundable deposit

Despite being conveniently located near major motorways (M1, M6 and M42) and the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham, Chapel Lane Club Campsite is a rural gem that will take you by surprise. Set in the shadow of a charming old chapel and with a pleasant open-field horizon, this West Midlands campsite is also marvellous for those with an interest in our industrial heritage - there are fascinating museums close by to take you back in time.

There is so much to do around the site from visiting The Transport Museum (open weekends and most Bank Holidays) which is adjacent to the campsite to getting a bite to eat or visiting Cadbury World. A mere ten minute walk will take you to Becketts Farm Shop which includes a restaurant serving hearty meals. Chapel Lane Club Campsite is also only 13 miles away from the NEC in Birmingham, hosting some of the UK's best-loved events such as the Caravan and Motorhome Show.

Facilities include a small dog walk on site (longer dog walks nearby) and a bus stop within 50 metres.

Please note: Birmingham's Clean Air Zone comes into effect from June 2021. Whilst Chapel Lane is not within this zone, we advise members to review Birmingham's Clean Air Zone and check at Gov. UK Clean Air Zone if charges may apply for your vehicle to drive into the city or pass through the zone on your journey to site.

Great long weekend stop

A super site, very clean, easy access, well maintained and friendly staff. Although there was some background noise from the M42, the birds drowned it out, so not really a problem. The pitches are a good size and well equipped (fully serviced), and the facilities on site were both in... Show more

Excellent Site

We’d heard a lot about Chapel Lane but rarely travel north—until now! We absolutely loved our stay. The site has fantastic footpaths right from the doorstep, perfect for exploring. We also tried the pub recommended in the leaflet, which was great for lunch. The wardens were welcoming and extremely helpful, making... Show more

March stay

We stayed two nights in early March 2025, so I guess the weather was unpredictable, but the staff made it feel like summer. Very helpful, no such thing as a daft question. A very kwirky one way system around the site, but easy enough to navigate. Very spacious pitch, level... Show more

Very disappointed

Only one toilet block open despite the site being half full with a rally going on. No rubbish or recycling bins at any of the service points which we hadn’t been warned about when we checked in. Wandered round in the dark looking for were we could dispose of our... Show more

Used site to visit NEC for Caravan & Motorhome show

Staff very helpful when arrived, and I asked about traveller issue ( read from a few reviews in 2024) and mind put at rest - small group who ultimately have had club membership rescinded. As show was on and site busy (both shower blocks open) we had plot 36 - by... Show more

Well situated site

Well situated site. Very welcoming and spotlessly clean facilities, and site generally. We use this site for a couple of nights when going to the NEC. It’s well placed for visiting the wider area too.

The ideal spot

My wife and used the site to access the NEC, for the Caravan and Motorhome Exhibition, and also to get our 'van to the dealer for a repair. It ticked both boxes for us. After the brief visit, on this occasion, we already have it ticked for using as a... Show more

Great stopover site

We have stayed here several times when travelling north from the West Country. It's very easy to access from the M5, no narrow lanes or awkward entrance!
