Nestled near the foothills of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, or Brecon Beacons National Park by its English name, Brecon Beacons Club Campsite offers some spectacular views of Bannau Brycheiniog’s dramatic peaks, including Pen-y-Fan, Cribyn and Corn Du. It features a plethora of facilities that include two toilet blocks and play areas for children. A circular dog walk leads to a pretty stream and woodland area which is the perfect place to spot some local wildlife. This Welsh campsite with its central location provides the ideal base for touring local towns, including Brecon, Talgarth and Abergavenny. A pleasant 1.5 mile walk along the Brecon Canal path takes you into Brecon, where you will find a weekly market, shops and restaurants and a theatre with a varied programme.

For those who love the outdoors, you couldn’t get a much better location than Brecon Beacons Club Campsite. The nearby hills and mountains offer plenty of opportunity for walking, cycling, climbing and caving. For a more laid-back break the scenery of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park is equally as spectacular when exploring by car. Whatever you choose to do, the campsite makes a great base from which to see the sights and if you've built up a thirst after all that activity, there's a nice local pub about 10-minutes' walk away!

Great Camp site

One of our favourite places to stay. Great dog walks on site and Brecon Beacons on your doorstep. The canal walk takes you into Brecon if you want pubs/shops/restaurants. We like the food in The Three Horseshoes pub which is just a short walk through the woods and onto... Show more

One of my fave sites

Stayed here a few times, great location for hiking/running, used auto check in which was great, would be helpful to know which pitches were free before entering? Shame there was no heating in the one toilet block, they could have put temporary heaters in (oil heater?). My standard complaint about... Show more

A really warm greeting on arrival, plenty of space on pitches, lovely clean facilities. I love this site to access Bannau Brycheiniog, easy to walk into the town along the canal too. As usual, the WiFi lets the site down as it does on all CAMHC sites I’ve visited, no need... Show more
