Why stay here ...

We’re sorry to say that the Club has had to make the difficult decision to close Broomfield Farm Club Campsite at the end of the 2024 season. We do recognise that for those members who have stayed at our site, it will be a disappointment. Sadly, not enough members have stayed at Broomfield over the years to sustainably enable us to keep the campsite open.

We know that the Club is committed to providing Club campsites and pitches in locations that are popular with the wider membership, with approximately 180,000 more pitch nights available in 2024 than there were in 2018 across the network.

Thank you to those of you who have stayed with us. We know there is another perfect pitch just waiting for you, to help you find some inspiration, here are some popular alternative Club campsites just a short distance away which we hope you will try:

Battle Normanhurst Court Club Campsite (open 15 Mar-4 Nov) - 15 miles, 32 minutes by road
Brighton Club Campsite (open all year) - 21 miles, 40 minutes by road
Tanner Farm Touring Caravan and Camping Park (open all year) - 25 miles, 54 minutes by road
Fairlight Wood Club Campsite (open 15 Mar-4 Nov) - 28 miles, 1 hour by road

In addition, there are a number of Certificated Locations within the vicinity, that continue to offer picturesque solitude away from the crowds that are exclusively for our members.

Great site for peace and quiet.

This is my go to site when I need a bit peace and quiet, it has spacious pitches all with electricity, wide open spaces, woodland dog walks and great staff on site which keep this site in excellent order. There are two decent pubs 30-40 mins walk away for good... Show more

When we visited (Easter 2024) we had been booked at a nearby CL but it was waterlogged and had to cancel. Broomfield were helpful and friendly. Grass pitches were closed and even hardstanding had soggy bits. Good walking from the site. Well placed for local attractions eg Charleston, Sheffield Park. Facilities... Show more
